I was born in a tent revival. My dad was a preacher who sang and played piano and my mom sang beautifully. Together they had a radio show called ”The Golden Gospel Hour”, so from the time I was a baby there was music everywhere, I guess it's in my DNA. I've always had a great passion for music, melody and rhyme. I got my first guitar when I was 10 years old and fell in love, I didn’t know it then but that would set the course for my whole life.
On the streets of San Francisco around Fisherman’s Wharf and Ghirardelli Square is where I first experienced my love for performing live. A good song could bring in enough donations for the evening meal. I followed my dream around the country until I landed in St. Augustine, Florida. I‘ve been writing songs all of my life but it wasn't until I started writing music for film, video documentaries and theme park rides that I found my niche. I love collaborating with other artists and experimenting with different genres of music.
I find inspiration all around me. I let the music move me as if I were its instrument. I love the places of the heart and soul, and that's what drives me on.
I’m currently working from my home studio on music for a documentary film. I feel fortunate that this project came along at this unbelievable time in our lives. Unfortunately all of the live gigs have been canceled but you can see a few of my live gigs on YouTube. Courage and peace be with you all!
